They definitely were a band of brothers who were more than successful for more than forty years as a harmonic soft rock act in the 1960's and earl 1970's and as the foremost stars of the disco music era in the late 1970's.

When it comes to British Music, Eric Clapton is another very popular British Performer who played with the Yardbirds from 1963 to 1965 where he acquired the nickname "Slowhand". Apparently when he would break a guitar string on stage, he would immediately replace it himself and the audience would respond with slow hand claps until he was finished and ready to play again. Other bands that Eric Clapton belonged to included the Bluebreakers, Cream and Derek and the Dominos and finally in 1973 he struck out on his own to perform.
